School Nurse
The School Nurse is employed by Gloucestershire NHS Primary Care Trust and is part of the Public Health Nursing Team.
She is based at Bettridge School, but is also the named school nurse for Battledown Centre for Children & Families, Belmont and Alderman Knight special schools.
The School Nurse works closely with parents and other professionals to help meet the health needs and well being of each child. She also liaises with other agencies if and when appropriate.
The School Nurse visits Battledown weekly to meet up with Educational staff and may also be present at Paediatric Clinics held at the school arranged through the Community Paediatric Service.
Our School Nurse is Linda Ebdon, she is available to give help, support and advice to parents and can be contacted anytime.
