Vacancies at our school will be advertised here and on the Gloucestershire County Council website.

We may also publish vacancies in the local press and, for Leadership Roles, the Times Educational Supplement.

Volunteering

At Battledown we have several volunteers who help children to play and learn in class and at activities such as Riding, swimming and Forest School.

All volunteers receive basic training on how we work at Battledown and additional training that is specific to the children they work with. This is an opportunity for you to meet new people and share your skills with others.

If you think you would like to support children play and learn and are interested in:

  • Messy Play
  • Drop-in groups
  • Riding
  • Forest School
  • Swimming

If you think you have others skills to offer like:

  • Light gardening
  • Fundraising
  • Grant/bid writing
